I was passing through Monticello, IA and noticed a cool small computer business downtown called CZ Top Computers… I popped in to meet the owner eager to talk technology with a fellow computer tech.

Last night I had a nice chat and Haircut from Maquoketa’s newest Barber, Brian West.
He opened the new “Barber Stop” inside Theisen’s Store in Maquoketa. His parlor is a round looking Barber Pole, a kiosk set up towards the front of Theisen’s.
Haircuts are $11. and many other babrer services too.

I hear that Barack Obama will be speaking in Maquoketa again. I know it will be Thursday Night about 7:30 pm, December 13th, but do not now the location of the event yet.

Hello everyone, I just got word and a little information about Chad Strathman (Grew up in Maquoketa) in a Band called “The Swells” located in Minnesota.
