PPP “A Christmas Story”
Peace Pipe Players will present the comedy, “A Christmas Story”
Nov. 30 through Dec. 2 at the
Ohnward Fine Arts Center, Maquoketa.

The comedy centers around 9-year-old Ralphie who only wants a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas.
Andrew Long of Maquoketa plays the lead as Ralphie and Chris Raker as the older Ralphie and narrator. Raker is Jackson County’s assistant county attorney. Long is an eighth-grader at Maquoketa Middle School and the son of Jane and Russ Long.
Other cast members include William Otteman, Robyn Lane, Jack Roling, Erica Barker, Paul Horst, Bill Davison and Ed Szabo.
Shelley Hoye is directing with assistants Lori Houston and Rebecca Kutsch.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger in advance at Osterhaus Pharmacy and Ohnward Fine Arts Center in Maquoketa. Tickets are $2 more at the door.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2.
