WYOMING — One person was seriously injured in a shooting late Saturday night at a rural Wyoming home.
Deputies from the Jones and Jackson county sheriff’s offices were called to 10121 20th Ave. at 10:22 p.m. Saturday on a report that someone had been shot. One person was found with a single gunshot wound to the upper abdomen, and was taken to the Jackson County Public Hospital by ambulance before being transferred by air to University Hospitals.

We appreciate the news and the tech friendly site, but would you be willing to change the name to David’s Maquoketa Blog? I think you and your father should drop “daily” from the titles because it sets a false expectation for your readers. You will see less comments of this nature in your guest books, on the site, etc. if you accept this advise.
If it’s not done daily, then why pretend that it is? A simple change will reduce frustration on this end.
