Investments are made in Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce!

Several area businesses have recently made investment totaling $8,000 in the Maquoketa Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Office, announced Stacy Driscoll, Chamber/Economic Development Director.

$5,000 received will be utilized in Phase II of the Chamber’s Technology Progress Initiative to redesign and enhance the chamber and economic development website. Partners in this project include: Alliance Pipeline, Aquila and Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility.

The remaining $3,000 will fund the publication of an updated Maquoketa Area Laborshed Analysis. The five partners in this project are: Aquila, Eastern Iowa Community College District, Maquoketa Municipal Electric Utility, Maquoketa Valley Electric Cooperative and the State of Iowa.

Because of the generosity of so many organizations, Driscoll noted, the Chamber/Economic Development Office is once again able to address the needs of our membership on the web as well as provide updated information to prospects considering Maquoketa as a place to live and do business. We are grateful these area business have chosen to invest additional dollars in the Maquoketa Chamber of Commerce expressed Stacy Driscoll. The Chamber wishes to thank everyone who has donated resources or volunteered time to support their organization.
