August 26th, 2008 Marks KMAQ’s BIG 50th Year!
2008 IS A SPECIAL YEAR FOR KMAQ! THEY CELEBRATE THEIR 50TH ANNIVERSARY!
THE CELEBRATION WILL BE ALL YEAR WITH SPECIAL EVENTS IN AUGUST, WHICH IS THE  ANNIVERSARY MONTH FOR KMAQ.

I attended the Ribbon Cutting and open house for  the “Clinton Engines” (www.clintonengines.com)  J.C. Historical Society Museum (www.jciahs.com) and WOW!  is all i can say. Its very, very, very nice

Had a nice time talking to people and I took over 130 photos, on my Maquoketa Flickr Page, look under Photo “Sets” for Clinton Engines Photos”.

Go check out the Clinton Engines Historical Society Museum soon.

I think they are having a Wine Tasting event Tour  there Sunday some time, $5.00 admission.

I attended the open house and dedication of the new Gym
and other additions to our Maquoketa Community High School.

What an amazing facility i must say!
A very good presentation by all who spoke as well.

I snapped nearly 100 Photos, and Dad (Dennis) took some too.
